Axiom 4 (Transparency and Accountability):

ICANN conducts its activities openly, maintaining transparency in decisions and financial operations, and remains accountable through defined mechanisms.

Axiom 5 (Security, Stability, and Risk Management):

ICANN ensures the security, stability, and resiliency of the DNS, employing risk management practices to protect its infrastructure.

Axiom 6 (Multistakeholder and Inclusive Processes):

ICANN employs a bottom-up, multistakeholder policy development process, ensuring diverse and inclusive participation.

Axiom 7 (Scope and Authority):

ICANN acts strictly within its mission, without regulating Internet services or content outside this scope, and holds no governmental authority.

Axiom 8 (Dispute Resolution and Bylaw Integrity):

ICANN provides fair dispute resolution mechanisms and requires significant consensus for Bylaw amendments.

Axiom 9 (Organizational Effectiveness and Improvement):

ICANN shall operate efficiently, strive for excellence, and continuously improve to meet the evolving needs of the global Internet community.
